What you get with this model

Modules cut on a single radius, so a 600 mm and an 800 mm column can share tooling — that is where the cost saving comes from
Height built in 500 mm bands; the top band is closed with a matching cap ring so no bare frame is visible
Content maps as a 360° strip, so any video loops around the column without a visible start point
Front-service modules with a magnetic carrier; the column does not need to be unbolted to swap a module
Optional acoustic or structural sleeve behind the LED where the column is load-bearing

Cylinders are the workhorse of shaped LED: a shopping centre column, a stage riser, a hotel lobby drum. One mould covers a range of diameters because the modules are cut on a constant radius.

Practical questions

How is a non-standard shape priced?

By the number of module types it needs. A shape that can be built from six module types is far cheaper than one that needs forty, even when they cover the same area. We tell you the count before we quote.

Can the artwork be mapped properly onto the shape?

Yes, and the mapping project is part of the delivery. For most shapes that means a 2:1 or cylindrical unwrap; for compound forms we supply a baked UV map so your content team works in a normal video timeline.
